He also extends his theatrical skills to playwriting, and some of his ten-minute plays have been produced at Albright College. Nate is also a teaching artist: he has taught workshops and courses at the Kimmel Center, Yocum Institute of the Arts, Olivet Boys and Girls Club, and more! Nate received his BA in Theatre from Albright College and is currently pursuing an MFA in Devised Theatre at Pig Iron School.
"Theatre is a beautifully powerful, dynamic, and integral art form. I believe that theatre can be used to connect people, to share stories that are vital in understanding who we are as human beings, and how we relate to each other on an intimate level. With each theatrical and artistic encounter and experience there is possibility and opportunity, the potential for us to gather, commune, and actively engage in a ritual that has been occurring since our beginning. I take this understanding with me during each project, and continue to question, experiment with, and imagine the future of this mysterious, yet transformative force. "
